Costa Blanca - North

The Costa Blanca is second only in popularity to the Costa del Sol, but property prices are cheaper, and the cost of living lower. There is a well-established British community in Altea and Javea. Benidorm is its best-known resort and, despite its enduring popularity, property is cheap and plentiful. Further south, the resort of Vilajoyosa is close to the huge new Terra Mitica theme park, and there are also several water parks on the Costa Blanca.

Denia is a picturesque town and is located in a sheltered position between the mountains and a long sandy beach. There are two 18-hole golf courses in the vicinity. Denia has a new yacht marina which is said to be the finest on the Costa Blanca, and it has ferries to the islands of Ibiza, Menorca and Majorca.
